I wondered where you have been & I am so sorry. There are no words to console & no actions to take away the pain. I can only say that my thoughts are with you, my mother is dying of ovarian cancer, I know how it can be. Truly sorry.

Manon, I am glad to know you are still there, but so, so sorry to learn of the reason for your absence - thoughts, prayers and hugs -

So sorry to hear about your little sister. Sounds like a horrible disease. All you can do at this point is spend as much time with her as you can and cherish each and every moment. I will keep you and your sister in my prayers.

Oh Manon, I am so very sorry to hear about your sister. My Aunt was also diagnosed this year. Last summer, she was fine. By this summer, she could no longer speak and could barely swallow pudding, yogurt, etc. ALS is a devastating disease and watching it claim her has been incredibly sad and frustrating. We live in a world where so many diseases are treatable; it is hard to accept that there is so little that can be done for this one. I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers and hope that you will find comfort and support among your family and friends in the coming year.

Hi Manon, I have not met you and am new in ravelry. I am so sorry to hear about your little sister. Losing a loved one is so hard. My husband had a massive cerebral hemorrhage in 1900. All the doctors were telling me he wouldn't liver through the bleed. He did survive and was with us 5 more years, until cancer took him away from us.

Then my oldest son died died suddenly and very unexpectedly in 2000. He has just turned 41 years ago. I still have not gotten over his death and still talk to him every night when I go to bed.

I will be thinking about you and remembering you and your family in my prayers. All you can do it take one day at a time and lean on God for support. He will always be there fore you.

Love,
Joann Brown

Très chère Manon,
I am so sorry for you and your family. Si l’envie te dit pour un café ou un petit moment de tricot, n’hésite pas à me laisser un mot.
Bon courage,
Véro
